The 2026 Northern California District Exchange Club Convention, held at Hotel Katarina in Chico, brought members together for a meaningful weekend of fellowship, leadership, and celebration. The convention opened with National Representative Kevin Barker, Region 5 VP, who shared guidance on club leadership and development. Ray Carlson presented the President’s Report and Treasurer’s Report, followed by the nomination and election of board members and officers led by Patrick Wallner, an In Memoriam tribute by Linda Carlson, and an Americanism presentation from Sean Farley of the Military Minute Museum. The Youth Awards Luncheon honored outstanding young people through the Legacy, Youth of the Year, and A.C.E. awards, while also recognizing club accomplishments and leaders from across the district. Later in the day, Kevin Barker led a team challenge that encouraged collaboration and fresh thinking. The day concluded with an outdoor reception, installation of district officers, Bell & Gavel presentation, closing remarks, and a 50/50 raffle drawing. With inspiring leadership, heartfelt recognition, and a renewed commitment to service, the 2026 convention reflected the spirit and purpose of Exchange.
